What is it
???
How did I get
it ???
What do I do
about it ???
Adults with ADD
/ ADHD struggle daily with controlling themselves: staying
focused or completing tasks at hand, and controlling their
impulses, abnormal feelings or reactions to their emotions
and/or the emotions of others. They struggle to sit still
but this behavior can be very subtle such as shaking their
foot, hand, or moving their head slightly from side to side.
If you find that
you have trouble staying focused, getting organized,
starting and completing your work, managing your time and
money, and remembering all the little things in your daily
life, you may very well struggle with this disorder.
In most cases,
adults with ADD/ADHD have struggled with it for most of
their lives. They were the students who were in trouble in
school, ones who were classified as the ”class clown,“
always on the go, and at times labeled the ”lazy one.“ They
were usually the child who excelled at sports or only one
activity, but could not do much else. They would loose
things that were necessary to complete a task; they would do
their homework, but it was a bit messy so they would crumple
it and throw it away. Sound like you?
There are many
resources that available to people who struggle with
ADD/ADHD. From pharmaceutical drugs to behavioral therapy,

changes in their life.
